What happens after purchase?
When checkout is available, Stripe handles payment. Your license key appears on the confirmation page. Open WhySlow’s unlock screen, choose “Already have a license key?” and paste it. Keep the key for your other Macs.
Is this a Mac cleaner?
No. WhySlow doesn’t delete files or “boost” memory. It explains why your Mac is slow and offers specific, ask-first actions. Compare it with Activity Monitor on the Activity Monitor alternative page.
Can I try the app first?
Yes. Diagnosis and explanations remain free, so you can see whether WhySlow helps before purchasing. The website’s interactive demo uses sample data; the downloaded app reads your own Mac.
